From The Chicago Tribune:
On October 7, the Art Institute of Chicago announced that it is receiving a $1 million grant to fund a five-year collaboration with Chicago Public Schools to foster students’ engagement with original artworks. The gift from Cari and Michael J. Sacks to the Department of Museum Education will underwrite “TEAM: Thinking Experiences in an Art Museum,” a program intended to take the visual arts into Chicago’s public schools and to encourage critical and creative thinking.
