From Oregon Live:

Extreme sports meet extreme science in the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry’s new exhibit, opened on February 1, “Tony Hawk/Rad Science.” Created in a realistic skate park setting, the exhibit features 25 interactive experiences, including a balance testing station, a section on what types of surfaces provide the smoothest ride, and a history of how physics drove the evolution of decks, wheels, and axles. The museum hopes the display and interactive elements will generate learning on gravity, force, velocity, acceleration and inertia in ways that appeal to extreme sports fans and science enthusiasts alike.
