From Informal Science:

After ten years of working to make science an integral component of out-of-school time programming, the Coalition for Science After School has concluded their operations. In order to reflect on the advances made in the past decade of work and set agendas for the future of the field, the Coalition organized a summit titled “Passing the Torch: Advancing Opportunity for Quality Science Teaching.” The summit was held this March at the Exploratorium and brought together 60 leaders from STEM education, youth development, and out-of-school time communities. This report from the summit focuses on 11 areas to continue to advance STEM in out-of-school time communities.
